PocketNotes
A downloadable collection
In exploring the possibilities of Pocketmod and Pocketfold zine layouts for my games, I decided to make a little notebook (styled after a composition book). I found it quite useful, despite its small size (after all, being a Pocketmod, it only had 6 pages). So, from that simple starting point, I decided to create a full-fledged collection of pocket-sized notebooks for various uses.
Included in the .ZIP file are A4 and US Letter size versions, in both Pocketmod and Pocketfold formats of each of the following:
- Notes: a simple lined notebook, perfect for taking notes or scribbling down ideas
- Graphs: some basic graph paper, with a double line every 5th line in both axes
- Doodles: a decently nice cover over blank pages, perfect for doodling
- (NEW!) Hexes: a simple hexagonal grid, made thanks to a request from Narmer
The Pocketmod versions of each of these books (except doodles, whose back should be blank anyhow) also includes a back side (which should be printed so its top is the same direction as the cover) and a dashed line indicating where you can make an (optional) cut for fold-out inside flaps, giving quick access to the back side without completely unfolding the Pocketfold.
As an added bonus, I have also included my original notebook design as an "alpha version."
For folding instructions, see the Pocketmod instructions and the Pocketfold page.

Nice! Considered a dot-grid?
I just saw the version with hexes. Nice, thanks!
These are really cool! Perfect size for quick notes. And I like that you can use both sides of the paper which is a slight shortcoming of the pocketmod.
Any chance you could make one with hexes?
For sure! I'll add a hex design when I have a chance.
Excellent! Thanks!
